Call to improve Bolivian petrochemical plant draws 4 groups

Four proposals were submitted to overhaul components of Bolivian state hydrocarbons company YPFB’s Bulo Bulo ammonia and urea plant in Cochabamba department.

The work entails carrying out the basic engineering to improve systems that supply raw water and treat effluents.

The bidders are Bolivia Petróleo y Gas Consultores y Servicios, IPE Bolivia, Kempetro Ingeniería and MRV Servicios.

Meanwhile, GLJ and Sproule International participated in an information meeting in YPFB’s call to quantify and certify reserves of natural gas and hydrocarbon liquids through December 31, 2024.

The deadline for presenting offers was extended to November 7.

YPFB also has a tender underway to conduct a conceptual engineering study for the implementation of green hydrogen, ammonia and methanol plants. The deadline was extended to October 28.
