SSCC Costs FEBRUARY 2025 Chilean Electricity Market: We share the analysis of the costs associated with Ancillary Services and other lateral costs linked to the operation of the electrical system in Chile during FEBRUARY 2025, a month notable for the February 25th disruption that resulted in a global blackout. All values are expressed in US dollars, considering the parity used by the National Electricity Coordinator (CEN) for its calculations for the respective month.

Due to the relevance of the costs associated with compensations for Stabilized Price, PE, we have included two additional analyses, the comparison between the real CMg of the blocks associated with PE and the PE considered by the CEN for the calculation of compensations, as well as the number of hours with zero CMg in each substation of interest to us and by blocks, and which has a direct impact on the calculation of compensation.

All analyses have been developed based on official information published by the National Electricity Coordinator (CEN). We would appreciate sharing this information.

Any questions or comments about what was delivered will be welcomed, so please consider sending them to the email address provided in the PDF.
