The terminal will have an access bridge, two piers and a building. A boarding area and a parking lot are also envisaged. The port plans to handle two Grand Class ships at the same time, with a length of 300 meters and a maximum capacity of 3,000 passengers each. The project would be located in the bay of Miraflores, around the descent of Cuartel San Martín. The Cruise Terminal will generate multiple benefits for the inhabitants and visitors to the city of Lima and, particularly, will boost tourism in other coastal cities of the country, such as Trujillo, Chiclayo and Paracas. As a base port, cruise ship passengers will make air and land connections to cities such as Arequipa, Cusco, Iquitos and others. The project will attract more than 40,000 tourists, which would boost the development of multiple sectors.
