The project will be close to existing facilities serving major mining and metals companies such as Vale and CSN . In addition, the area prepared for ITGO2 is connected by a railway to an iron-rich area in the state of Minas Gerais. The terminal area will be used for the movement and storage of solid mineral bulks, especially iron ore. During the construction works, around 2,800 indirect jobs will be created. During the operation phase, it is estimated that more than 250 direct jobs and 1,800 indirect jobs will be created.
